What is Persona 5 The Royal?
The Persona series is a juvenile RPG set in contemporary Japanese cities, where players experience everyday events such as school life, friendship, and romance while simultaneously confronting occultic incidents involving mysterious rumours and urban legends. It depicts the story of young boys and girls who awaken to their “Persona” (an alter ego within themselves that manifests as a “legendary god or demon”) meeting, overcoming numerous hardships, and growing together.

Encountering HINEMOS
HINEMOS is a sake brand born in 2019, built around the unique concept of “time.”
With a desire to make sake more approachable and enjoyable for everyone, the brand embraces “time” — a universal idea shared around the world — as the heart of its identity. Each expression is named after a specific time of day, such as “SHICHIJI” (7:00 PM) or “HACHIJI” (8:00 PM), inviting you to appreciate the moment through the experience of sake.
In Persona 5 The Royal, the protagonist, a young boy who transfers to a high school in Tokyo for certain reasons, begins to experience strange dreams.
—You are truly a prisoner of fate. Destruction awaits you in the near future.
To achieve the “rehabilitation” imposed upon him, and to save people from their wicked desires, he becomes a student by day and a phantom thief by night, meeting many people and forging bonds.
Inspired by the RPG experience where the story unfolds through the shifting “time” of day and night, HINEMOS conceived a symbolic bottle and spirit. We realised this could deepen the experience, creating a refrain within the gameplay itself, leading to this collaboration.
We have created bottles featuring the three protagonists: Joker, Kasumi Yoshizawa (Violet), and Goro Akechi (Crow).
While it is common practice to affix sticker labels to bottles, this collaboration bottle employs screen printing to apply the design directly onto the glass.
The decoration will not peel off even after washing the bottle once empty. We hope you will use it as room décor or a vase, allowing you to linger longer in its afterglow and feel closer to the world of Persona 5 The Royal.
HINEMOS expands the possibilities of Japanese sake, expressing a diverse range of flavours. We develop sakes that showcase distinct personalities, allowing even first-time drinkers to clearly discern the differences, while harnessing the unique character of each variety. Each label is crafted with a completely original flavour profile not found in existing HINEMOS offerings.
