BREWERY

HINEMOS is produced by Shunsaku Yuasa, the 12th generation of the Moriyama Sake Brewery, which has been in business for over 300 years. In July 2021, HINEMOS moved from Aichi Prefecture, where it was founded, to Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, where it is brewing sake in an unprecedented refrigerated warehouse.

While most sake breweries make sake during the cold autumn and winter months, Moriyama Sake Brewery brews sake in a refrigerated warehouse where the temperature is uniform throughout the year. This allows us to brew sake regardless of the season, dramatically improving the number of trial runs.

AWARD

HINEMOS has received various prestigious awards worldwide.

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is one of the world's most prestigious blind tasting boards, founded in 1984. The SAKE division has grown exponentially since it was founded in 2007, making it the largest and most influential event of the Sake Review Board outside Japan.
